Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa antara yang menggunakan alat peraga papan berpasangan manik – manik dengan alat peraga garis bilangan pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalen Control Group Design. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yakni purposive sampling. Pada penelitian ini, kelas V A sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan alat peraga papan berpasangan manik – manik dan kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan alat peraga garis bilangan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest (soal pengujian akhir siswa) kelas eksperimen = 72,03 dan kelas kontrol = 65,50. Dari hasil uji beda rata-rata dengan taraf signifikansi = 0.05 diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,15 > 1,67. Dan rata – rata gain kelas eksperimen diperoleh 0,42 dan kelas kontrol diperoleh 0,34. Hasil dari uji-t data gain thitung > ttabel yaitu 1,83 < 1,67 . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis operasi hitung bilangan bulat siswa yang menggunakan alat peraga Papan Berpasangan Manik – Manik dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan alat peraga Garis Bilangan posttest dan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis operasi hitung bilangan bulat siswa dengan penggunaan alat peraga berpasangan manik - manik lebih tinggi dari peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis operasi hitung bilangan bulat siswa dengan penggunaan alat peraga garis bilangan.

| Additional Information: | This research aims to know the difference of students’ mathematical concept comprehension ability between who use props of paired board beads and who use props of line number on the material of arithmetic operation of integers in the academic year of 2016/2017. The research methodology used was quasi- experimental by research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. In this research, Class V A was chosen as experimental class that used props of paired board beads and Class V B was chosen as control class that used props of line number. The result of research is gained that the average value of posttest (the last test) of experimental class = 72.03 and control class = 65.50. From the result of differentiator average test with level of significance at 0.005 is gained t count > t table which is 2.15 > 1.67. Then, the average of gain of experimental class is 0.42 and control class is 0.34. The result of t-test and gain is gained t count > t table which is 1.83 < 1.67. Based on the result, it can be concluded that there is a difference of students’ mathematical concept comprehension ability on the material of arithmetic operation of integers between who use props of paired board beads and who use props of line number. The posttest result and the enhancement of the students’ mathematical concept comprehension ability on the arithmetic operation of integers by using props of paired board beads is higher than the enhancement of the students’ mathematical concept comprehension ability on the arithmetic operation of integers by using props of line number. | |||||||||
