Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara mengembangkan media pembelajaran big book berbasis keterampilan sosial materi kerjasama di lingkungan tetangga pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas II sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Ciwaktu dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas II sejumlah 30 siswa dengan rincian 10 siswa pada uji coba terbatas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada metode pengembangan Research and Development (R&D). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar angket untuk validasi media oleh dosen ahli serta guru dan lembar angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan kualitas media big book berbasis keterampilan sosial yang dikembangkan termasuk pada kategori layak dengan presentase 75,55% dari dua ahli media, kategori sangat layak dengan presentase 92,00% dari dua ahli materi, kategori layak dengan presentase 68,17% dari dua ahli bahasa. Respon siswa terhadap media big book berbasis keterampilan sosial pada uji coba dengan 10 responden sebesar 89,5% dengan kategori sangat setuju.

Additional Information: This study aims to find out how to develop big book learning media based on social skills in collaboration with neighbors in social studies in class II elementary school. This research was conducted at Ciwaktu Elementary School with 30 students of the second grade research subjects with a total of 10 students in a limited trial. The type of research used refers to the Research and Development (R & D) development method. The instruments used were questionnaires for media validation by expert lecturers and teachers and student response questionnaire sheets. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the quality of social media-based big book media is included in the feasible category with a percentage of 75.55% from two media experts, a very feasible category with a percentage of 92.00% from two material experts, a decent category with a percentage of 68.17 % of the two linguists. The response of students to the big book media was based on social skills in a trial with 10 respondents at 89.5% with the strongly agree category.
