Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media serta untuk mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis majalah dinding (Mading) pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas v di SD Negeri Kubang Kemiri. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengacu pada model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang di kembangkan oleh Sugiyono, yaitu : (1) Potensi dan masalah (Identifikasi Masalah), (2) Pengumpulan informasi, (3) Desain produk, (4) Validasi desain, (5) Revisi desain, (6) Uji coba produk kelompok kecil, (7) Revisi produk, (8) Uji coba produk kelompok besar, (9) Revisi produk tahap akhir, (10) Produksi masal. Namun pada penelitian ini, di beri batasan hanya sampai tahap ke-9. Validasi ahli di lakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli bahasa, dengan subjek penelitian yaitu kelas V SD Negeri Kubang Kemiri, dengan rincian 8 siswa pada kelompok kecil dan 47 siswa pada kelompok besar. Dari data yang di peroleh Tingkat validitas media dari segi materi mencapai 95,38% (Sangat Layak), tingkat validitas media dari segi media mencapai 89% (Sangat Layak) dan tingkat validitas media dari segi bahasa mencapai 98% (Sangat Layak). Respon siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil mendapatkan skor akhir dengan presentase 94,53% (Sangat Baik) dan hasil uji coba kelompok besar mendapatkan skor akhir dengan presentase 86,56% (Sangat Baik). Jadi dapat di simpulkan bahwa media Mading ini layak dan dapat di pergunakan.

| Additional Information: | This study aims to determine the feasibility of the media as well as to describe students' responses to wall magazine-based learning media (Mading) in v-grade social studies subjects at Kubang Kemiri Public Elementary School. The research method used is the Research and Development method (R & D) with reference to the Borg and Gall development model developed by Sugiyono, namely: (1) Potential and problems (Problem Identification), (2) Collection of information, (3) Design products, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) small group product testing, (7) product revision, (8) large group product testing, (9) final product revision, (10) production mass. But in this study, the limit was only given to the 9th stage. Expert validation was carried out by material experts, media experts and linguists, with research subjects namely class V of Kubang Kemiri Elementary School, with details of 8 students in small groups and 47 students in large groups. From the data obtained the level of media validity in terms of material reached 95.38% (Very Worthy), the level of media validity in terms of media reached 89% (Very Worthy) and the level of media validity in terms of language reached 98% (Very Worth). Student responses to the small group trials get the final score with a percentage of 94.53% (Very Good) and the results of the large group trial get the final score with a percentage of 86.56% (Very Good). So it can be concluded that this Mading media is feasible and can be used. | |||||||||
