Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis contextual teaching and learning dan untuk mengetahui kelayakan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis contextual teaching and learning pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada 6 dari 10 tahapan pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh Borg dan Gall. Produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini ialah berupa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis contextual teaching anda learning yang memuat materi tentang pengaruh kalor terhadap suhu dan wujud benda pada mata pelajaran IPA Sekolah Dasar Kelas V. Lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis contextual teaching and learning ini merupakan lembar kerja yang menerapkan prinsip-prinsip contextual teaching and learning didalamnya, sehingga peserta didik dapat terlibat secara langsung untuk mendapatkan konsep dalam pembelajarannya. Untuk menguji kelayakan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis contextual teaching and learning ini, dilakukan uji coba validasi ahli. Validasi ahli dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli desain, dan ahli pendidikan dengan subjek penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V B SDN Taman Ciruas Permai dengan jumlah siswa 25 peserta didik. Dari data yang diperoleh, Lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis contextual teaching and learning ini mendapatkan rata-rata skor validasi ahli sebesar 90%, sehingga masuk ke dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”, dan mendapat rata-rata skor sebesar 89% dari respon siswa dan masuk ke dalam kategori “Baik Sekali”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas V Sekolah Dasar ini layak dan dapat dipergunakan.

Additional Information: This research aims to find out how to develop student worksheet based on contextual teaching and learning and to determine the feasibility of student worksheets based on contextual teaching and learning in 5th grade elementary school subjects. This study uses the Research and Development (R & D) method which refers to 6 of the 10 stages of development carried out by Borg and Gall. The product that produced from this study is in the form of student worksheets based on your contextual teaching learning which contains material about the influence of heat on the temperature and shape of objects in Class V elementary school subjects. Student worksheets are based on contextual teaching and learning which applies the principles of contextual teaching and learning in it, so that students can be directly involved in getting concepts in their learning. To test the feasibility of student worksheets based on contextual teaching and learning, expert validation trials were conducted. Expert validation is carried out by material experts, design experts, and education experts with research subjects, namely all students of class V B SDN Taman Ciruas Permai with a total of 25 students. From the data obtained, this worksheet based on contextual teaching and learning gets an average expert validation score of 90%, so it falls into the "Very Worthy" category, and gets an average score of 89% from student responses and admission into the category "Very Good". Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the Student Worksheet Based on Contextual Teaching and Learning in Class V Science Subjects of Elementary School is feasible and can be used.
