Abstract
Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah “apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan teknik ubah catatan harian terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa kelas XI SMKN 3 Kota Serang?”. “apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan teknik storyboard terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa kelas XI SMKN 3 Kota Serang?”. Apakah terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara penggunaan teknik ubah catatan harian dan dengan teknik storyboard terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa kelas XI SMKN 3 Kota Serang?”. Dengan tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan teknik ubah catatan harian dan storyboard terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa kelas XI SMKN 3 Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yang bersifat kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMKN 3 Kota Serang. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak dua kelas, yaitu kelas XI-AP2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI-TB sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, maka diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu hasil pembelajaran menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan teknik storyboard di kelas kontrol mendapat nilai rata-rata sebesar 76,6 dengan nilai pretest 58,96. Penggunaan teknik ubah catatan harian di kelas eksperimen mendapat nilai rata-rata sebesar 82,2 dengan nilai pretest 61,12. Berdasarkan data penelitian hasil pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan pada nilai posstest yang memiliki selisih 5,6 point dengan nilai rata-rata kelas ekperimen sebesar 82,2 dan kelas kontrol 76,6, hasil tersebut terlihat adanya perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen yang menggunakan teknik ubah catatan harian lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan menggunaka teknik storyboard. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa teknik ubah catatan harian lebih baik dibandingkan dengan teknik storyboard untuk peningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Kota Serang.

With the aim of the study to describe the effect of the use of technique to change diary and storyboard on the short story writing skills of students of class XI SMKN 3 Kota Serang. This research uses a quantitative experimental method. The population in this research were all grade XI students of SMKN 3 Kota Serang. The samples used were two classes, namely class XI-AP2 as an experimental class and class XI-TB as a control class. Based on the results of data analysis, the conclusion is that the learning outcomes of short story writing using storyboarding techniques in the control class get an average value of 76.6 with a pretest value of 58.96. The use of the diary change technique in the experimental class received an average value of 82.2 with a pretest score of 61.12. Based on research data learning outcomes have increased in the value of posttest which has a difference of 5.6 points with an average value of 82.2 experimental class and 76.6 control class, these results are seen to be significant differences in short story writing skills using change techniques high daily records compared to using storyboarding techniques. The results of this research state that the diary change technique is better than the storyboard technique to improve the short story writing skills of class XI students of SMK Negeri 3 Kota Serang. | |||||||||
