Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendesripsikan perbedaan pengaruh antara kemampuan menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan metode Copy the Master dan Mind Mapping pada siswa kelas X SMA AL HUDA. Teknik pengambilan sampel digunakan teknik simple random sampling. Terpilih siswa kelas X IIS 1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan X IIS 2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data penelitian berupa lembar hasil kerja siswa dalam menulis cerpen yang diberikan pada saat pretest dan posttest. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang sangat kuat dalam penerapan metode Copy the Master terhadap kemampuan menulis cerpen, dengan rata-rata skor pretest 53,04 dan skor posttest 76,48. Sedangkan pengaruh metode Mind Mapping terhadap kemampuan menulis cerpen dengan rata-rata skor pretest 55,96 dan skor posttest 64,32. Berdasarkan data hasil pembelajaran memiliki peningkatan pada nilai posttest di kelas eksperimen yang memiliki selisih 12,16 poin. Dari hasil tersebut terlihat adanya perbedaan yang signifikan yakni nilai yang menggunakan metode Copy the Master lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai yang menggunakan metode Mind Mapping terhadap hasil menulis cerpen. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa metode pembelajaran Copy the Master lebih baik dibandingkan dengan metode Mind Mapping untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerpen

| Additional Information: | The purpose of this study is to describe the differences in influence between the ability to write short stories using the Copy the Master and Mind Mapping methods in class X of AL HUDA High School. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. Selected students of class X IIS 1 as the experimental group and X IIS 2 as the control group. The research data is in the form of student work sheets in writing short stories given at the pretest and posttest. The results of the study indicate that there is a very strong influence in the application of the Copy the Master method to the ability to write short stories, with an average pretest score of 53.04 and posttest score of 76.48. While the influence of the Mind Mapping method on the ability to write short stories with an average pretest score of 55.96 and posttest score of 64.32. Based on the learning outcomes data has an increase in the posttest value in the experimental class which has a difference of 12.16 points. From these results there is a significant difference in the value of using the Copy the Master method higher than the value using the Mind Mapping method on the results of writing short stories. The results of this study state that the Copy the Master learning method is better than the Mind Mapping method to improve the ability to write short stories. | |||||||||
