Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan laboratorium virtual terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa Kelas VIII pada konsep Hukum Archimedes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP IT Al-Izzah tahun ajaran 2017/2018 pada bulan April 2018. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group. Pengambilan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu Kelas VIII Akhwat 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan Kelas VIII Akhwat 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa yang terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 30 siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi soal tes (pretes, postes), lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains dengan menggunakan rating scale, serta angket respon siswa terhadap penggunaan laboratorium virtual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata keterampilan proses sains siswa pada kelas eskperimen sebesar 72,76 dengan kategori kuat dan nilai rata-rata observasi keterampilan proses sains yaitu 86,90 dengan kategori sangat kuat. Hasil uji Independent Simple T Test pada taraf signifikasi α=0,05 menunjukkan nilai signifikasi 0,012 < 0,05, maka H0 ditolak, berdasarkan hasil tesebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan laboratorium virtual terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas VIII pada konsep Hukum Archimedes.

| Additional Information: | The research to know the influence of the use of the virtual laboratory to science process skills students of class VIII on the concept of law of Archimedes. This research was carried out in SMP IT Al Izzah 2017/2018 in April 2018. The method in this research was quasi-experimental research and the design of Nonequivalent Control Group. The subject is taking cluster sampling techniques. The subject of this research consists of two classes, namely Class VIII Akhwat 1 as the class of experimental, and class VIII Akhwat 2 as the class of the control. The instruments used included test questions (pretest, posttest), observation sheets for science process skills used rating scales, and student response questionnaires on virtual laboratory use. The results showed the average value of the science process skills of students in the class of eskperimental of 72.76 with powerful category and the average value of the observation science process skills namely 86,90 with categories is very strong. Independent test results of Simple T Test on the significance level α = 0.05 indicate the significance of 0.05, then < 0.012 H0 is rejected, are based on the results it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the virtual laboratory against the process skills Science grade VIII on the concept of law of Archimedes. | |||||||||
