Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran think pair share terhadap pemahaman konsep dan kerja sama siswa pada pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang menggunakan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Model think pair share sebagai variabel bebas dan pemahaman kosep serta kerja sama siswa sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Waringinkurung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII G sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, lembar observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji hipotesis pengaruh model think pair share terhadap pemahaman konsep diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar (0,001) < 0,05 dan kerja sama siswa sebesar (0,021) < 0,05, maka Ho ditolak, dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan perbedaan pemahaman konsep dan kerja sama antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sehingga dapat diasumsikan bahwa model TPS berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep dan kerja sama siswa.

| Additional Information: | This research aimed to determine the influence of think pair share learning models on understanding concepts and student cooperation at VIII grade on disorders of the human respiratory system sub concept. The method used quasy-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The think pair share model is an independent variable and conceptual understanding and student cooperation as the dependent variable. The population in the study were all VIII grade students of SMPN 1 Waringinkurung in the academic year 2017/2018. The study sample consisted of two classes, VIII D as the experimental class and VIII G as the control class. The sampling technique is done by random sampling. Instrumental collection of data using tests, observation sheets, questionnaires and documentation. Hypothesis test results influence the think pair share model on concept understanding obtained t count value (0.001) <0.05 and student cooperation (0.021) <0.05, then Ho was rejected, from these indicated there was differences on concept understanding and student cooperation between the experimental class and control class so that it can be assumed that the TPS models was influential the conceptual understanding and student cooperation. | |||||||||
