Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa saat pembelajaran matematika. Masih terdapat siswa yang memperoleh nilai di bawah kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM). Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut salah satunya yaitu dipengaruhi oleh self-efficacy siswa. Salah satu pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan yaitu model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) - Heuristik. Dengan menggunakan pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristik siswa tidak hanya diarahkan untuk menemukan solusi dari masalah yang diberikan, akan tetapi pembelajaran tersebut juga mampu melatih siswa untuk memiliki prosedur pemecahan masalah, membuat analisis dan evaluasi terhadap hasil pemecahannya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang memperoleh pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristik dengan pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakannya, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 15 Kabupaten Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan angket self-efficacy. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: (1) Model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) - Heuristik berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa (2) Peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) - Heuristik lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan pembelajaran tersebut (3) Tingkat self-efficacy berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.

| Additional Information: | This reaserch is motivated by the lack of mathematical problem solving ability students during the learning of mathematics. There are still many student who score under minimum performance criteria. Many factors influence this, one of which is influenced by student self-efficacy. One lesson that can be used is Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS-Heuristic). By-using LAPS-Heuristic learning, student are not just directed to find solutions to the problem given, but it also being able to train students to have problem solving procedures, make analysis and evaluation of the outcome. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence and improved in student’s mathematical problem solving ability that gets LAPS-Heuristic with learning that does not use it, and to determine the effect of self-efficacy level on student’s mathematical problem solving ability. This research was held at the SMAN 15 Kabupaten Tangerang. The research method used is a quasi- experimental with design research is The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling. The instrument used were mathematical problem solving ability test and the self- efficacy questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that: (1) Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) - Heuristic learning model has a positive influence on student’s mathematical problem solving ability (2) The increase in mathematical problem solving abilitiy of students who obtain a Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS-Heuristic) learning model is better than the student who did not use the learning (3) The level of self-efficacy has a positive influence on mathematical problem solving ability. | |||||||||
