Abstract
This research to know differences in cognitive abilities and student learning interests in social science subjects using Two Stay Two Stray learning model with students using Think Pair Share learning model. The method used in this research is quasi experiment with research design group pre-test post-test design. This research was conducted in SD Negeri Pancur. Sampling technique in this research use saturated sampling. In this research, class V A as experiment class 1 uses Two Stay Two Stray learning model and class V B as experiment class 2 using Think Pair Share learning model. The research instruments were 7 questions of cognitive ability description. Technique of data analysis to test hypothesis in this research use t test and interest questionnaire analysis. From the calculation of the 1 st hypothesis test (t- test of two parties) obtained or 5,298 > 2,002 then is accepted, it can be concluded that there is difference of cognitive skill of student using Two Stay Two Stay with students using Think Pair Share learning model. From the results of hypothesis 2 test calculation (analysis of learning interest questionnaire results) obtained the value of percentage of learning interest in experiment class 1 of 87.63% categorized as "Excellent" and the value of percentage of learning interest in experiment class 2 of 83.12% categorized "Good ", It can be concluded that students who are given learning using the Two Stay Two Stray model have a higher interest than students who are given learning using Think Pair Share model.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian grup pre-test post-tes design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Pancur. Teknik pengambilan sample dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampling jenuh.
