Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan menulis teks berita dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script dan Concept Sentence. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen murni dengan desain penelitian control group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini yakni seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pandeglang Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 pada semester II (genap) sejumlah 325 siswa, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, dan sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script dan VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model Concept Sentence. Berdasarkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dua pihak dengan taraf signifikansi (ɑ=0,05). Hasil pengujian hipotesis data kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script menunjukkan –ttabel < thitung > ttabel = –2,002 < 5,181 > 2,002, Ha diterima. Hasil pengujian hipotesis data kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence –ttabel < thitung > ttabel = –2,002 < 4,218 > 2,002, Ha diterima. Hasil pengujian hipotesis data posttest kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script dan Concept Sentence menunjukkan –ttabel < thitung > ttabel –2,002 > 4,633 > 2,002, Ha diterima artinya bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penggunaan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script dan Concept Sentence terhadap keterampilan menulis teks berita pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pandeglang. Kemudian, berdasarkan hasil posttest kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script dan Concept Sentence didapat skor yaitu 71,76 > 61,7 yang terpaut sebesar 10,06 poin. Dapat disimpulkan, bahwa pembelajaran menulis teks berita yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script lebih baik daripada yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence.

| Additional Information: | This study aims to determine the differences in writing text skills news by using Cooperative Script and Concept Sentence model. This research is a pure experimental research with control group design pretest-posttest design. The population of this research is that all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pandeglang Teaching Year 2018/2019 in semester II (even) 325 students, sampling technique used in this research using simple random sampling technique, and research sample is class VIII A as experimental class using Cooperative Script and VIII B learning models as control class using Concept Sentence model. The result of hypothesis testing of class data using Cooperative Script model shows -ttable <tcount> ttable = –2,002 < 5,181 > 2,002, Ha accepted. The result of hypothesis testing of class data using learning model Concept Sentence -ttable <tcount> ttable = –2,002 < 4,218 > 2,002,, Ha accepted. The result of hypothesis testing of posttest data of class using Cooperative Script and Concept Sentence model shows -ttable <tcount> ttable = –2,002 > 4,633 > 2,002, Ha accepted means that there is a significant difference between the use of Cooperative Script and Concept Sentence learning model to the skill of writing news text on students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pandeglang. Then, based on the result of class posttest using Cooperative Script and Concept Sentence learning model got score that is 71,76 > 61,7 which is adrift of 10,06 points. It can be concluded that the learning of writing news text using the Cooperative Script model is better than using the Concept Sentence model. | |||||||||
