Pembimbing I: Gandung Ismanto, S.Sos., MM dan Pembimbing II: Listyaningsih, S.Sos., M.Si Penelitian ini membahas mengenai Pola Rekrutmen dan Disiplin Kerja Pegawai Tenaga Kerja Sukarela (TKS) di Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Provinsi Banten. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pola Rekrutmen dan Disiplin Kerja Pegawai Tenaga Kerja Sukarela (TKS) di Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori proses perekrutan Hasibuan (2008: 38), yang terdiri dari empat indikator yaitu: peramalan kebutuhan tenaga kerja, penarikan, seleksi, serta penempatan, orientasi dan induksi. Dan teori kedisiplinan Hasibuan (2008: 194) yang terdiri dari tujuh indikator yaitu: tujuan dan kemampuan, teladan pimpinan, balas jasa, keadilan, waskat, sanksi hukuman, ketegasan dan hubungan kemanusiaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pemilihan informan dilakuan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive dan snawball. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Kemudian untuk uji keabsahaan yaitu dengan cara triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik dan membercheck. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pola rekrutmen belum dilakukan dengan baik sementara kedisiplinan pegawai sudah cukup baik. Rekomendasi yang diberikan peneliti adalah perekrutan pegawai sebaiknya dilakukan secara transparan, adanya serangkaian tes seleksi dan sebaiknya penempatan pegawai disesuaikan dengan latar belakang pendidikan pegawai serta bagi pegawai yang rajin diberikan penghargaan agar pegawai termotivasi dan semangat dalam bekerja. The Purpose of this research is to know about about Recruitment Pattern and Discipline of Volunteer Employe Workers (TKS) in the Secretariat Regional Legislative (DPRD) of Banten Province. This research uses the theory of recruitment process theory by Hasibuan (2008: 38) which consists of four indicators, namely: forecasting labor needs, withdrawal, selection, and placement, orientation and induction. And theory of discipline by Hasibuan (2008: 194) which consists of seven indicators: purpose and abilities, exemlary leadership, reply services , justice, attachment supervision (waskat), sanctions punishment, assertiveness and humanitarian relations. The research method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The methode uses in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. Selection of informants is done by using purposive techniques and snawballs. The data colletion techniques used observation, interview, literature study and documentation. Then validity examination is done by triangulation of sources, triangulation techniques and membercheck. The results of this study indicate that the pattern of recruitment has not been done well while the discipline of employee is good enough. The recommendations given by the researcher are employee recruitment should be done transparently, the existence of a series of selection tests, the placement of employee should be adjusted to the educational background of emlployee and for the diligent employee should be given the award and appreciation so that employee is motivated and enthusiastic in working.
