Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di empat sekolah di Kecamatan Cikupa meliputi SMPN 1 Cikupa, SMPN 2 CIKUPA, SMPI Ash-Shibgoh dan SMP Muhamadiyah 48 Cikupa tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) dan metakognisi terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Metode penelitian yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Penelitian ini melibatkan sepuluh kelas yang terdiri dari 332 siswa sebagai sampel. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kecamatan Cikupa sebanyak 7103 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa instrumen tes kemampuan penalaran matematis, instrumen nontes berupa angket Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) dan angket metakognisi. Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana memberikan kesimpulan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa sebesar 75.92 %,dan pengaruh yang signifikan antara metakogisi terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis sebesar 57.22%, serta hasil penelitian menggunakan uji korelasi ganda memberikan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif antara Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) dan metakognisi terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa sebesar 0.8942 dengan interprestasi yaitu sangat kuat.

Additional Information: The study was conducted in four schools in Cikupa District including Cikupa 1 Public Middle School, CIKUPA 2 Public Middle School, Ash-Shibgoh Islamic PublicMiddle School and 48 Cikupa Muhamadiyah Middle School 2018/2019 academic year which aimed to see the effect of Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) and metacognition on students' mathematical reasoning abilities . The research method is quantitative research with the method used is the survey method. This study involved ten classes consisting of 332 students as samples. The population in this study were all junior high school students in Cikupa District as many as 7103 students. The instruments used in this study were mathematical reasoning ability test instruments, non-test instruments in the form of Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) questionnaires and metacognition questionnaires. The results of the study using simple linear regression test provide a conclusion that there is a significant influence between Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) on students' mathematical reasoning abilities is 75.92%, and the significant effect of metacogition on mathematical reasoning ability is 57.22%, and the results of the study using correlation tests double gives the conclusion that there is a positive correlation between Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) and metacognition on students' mathematical reasoning abilities is 0.8942 with interpretation that is very strong.
