Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan media pembelajaran picture crossword puzzle terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ipa kelas V SD pada materi benda tunggal dan benda campuran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IV B dengan jumlah 25 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dilihat dari uji-t dua pihak dan diperoleh nilai yaitu, thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,71 > 2,02 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima . Sedangkan untuk Uji-t satu pihak didapat hasil yaitu, nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,71 > 1,68 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara minat belajar siswa yang menggunakan media picture crossword puzzle dengan minat belajar siswa yang menggunakan media gambar. Serta penggunaan media picture crossword puzzle lebih baik di bandingkan dengan media gambar.

| Additional Information: | This study aims to determine the application of picture crossword puzzle learning media to students learning interest in material science in grade V elementary school subjects on single object and mixed objects. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. Sampling is done by using Purposive Sampling techniques. The sample in this study was class IV B with 25 students. Based on the results of the study seen from the two-party t-test and obtained a value that is, tcount> t table is 2.71> 2.02 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Whereas for the one-party t-test, the results obtained are, the t- count> t table is 2.71> 1.68 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a difference between students 'interest in learning using picture crossword puzzle media and students' interest in learning using media images. As well as students 'interest in learning is better by using picture crossword puzzle media than students' interest in learning using media images. | |||||||||
