Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pendekatan pendidikan multikultural berbasis Religion Knowledge di sekolah dasar kupu- kupu Jakarta selatan, baik meliputi penanaman nilai multikultural, peran guru dan sekolah dalam melakukan proses pendekatan pendidikan multikultural di sekolah tersebut, maupun faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam melakukan pendekatan pendidikan multikultural berbasis pengetahuan agama . Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh langsung dari informan baik berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan pengamatan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan jenis wawancara semi standar. Penelitian ini di analisis dengan menggunkan teori Peter L.Berger dan Thomas Luckman, yaitu konstruksi sosial dimana terdapat dua realitas subyektif dan obyektif dalam pandangan sosiologi pengetahuan. Adanya internalisasi dari sekolah sebagaimana dari proses tujuan sekolah membangun nilai toleransi, budi pekerti, dan kebangsaan yaitu semua bisa diambil dari pengetahuan muatan agama dimana tujuannya adalah menumbuhkan sikap toleransi dengan melibatkan proses eksternalisasi sebagaimana diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Bersdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa upaya pendekatan pendidikan multikultural terimplementasi secara baik, hal ini dikarenakan banyaknya faktor pendukung, mulai dari program sekolah, visi dan misi, pembelajaran dan pengetahuan warga sekolah terhadap pendidikan multikultural, meskipun terdapat hambatan didalamnya yakni usia individu siswa, kurangnya sosialisasi pendidikan multikultural untuk para guru dan faktor orang tua yang kurang begitu dominan menanamkan nilai religion knowledge pada siswa.

Additional Information: The purpose of this study was to find out how the Religion Knowledge-based multicultural education approach in South Jakarta butterfly elementary schools, including the cultivation of multicultural values, the role of teachers and schools in conducting the multicultural education approach in the school, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in approach multicultural education based on religious knowledge. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study were obtained directly from the informants in the form of observations, interviews, documentation and observations. The data collection technique uses a semi-standard interview type. This research was analyzed by using the theories of Peter L.erger and Thomas Luckman, namely social construction where there are two subjective and objective realities in view of the sociology of knowledge. The internalization of the school as from the process of school goals builds the value of tolerance, character, and nationality, all of which can be taken from the knowledge of religious content where the aim is to cultivate tolerance by involving externalization as applied in daily life. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that efforts to approach multicultural education are well implemented, this is due to the many supporting factors, ranging from school programs, vision and mission, learning and knowledge of school people to multicultural education, although there are obstacles in the individual age of students. lack of socialization of multicultural education for teachers and parents who are less dominant factors instill the value of religion knowledge in students.
