Abstract
Discipline grows out of necessity. Discipline behavior can be seen from children at an early age. The fact that there is still often found some children who show the low behavior of child self-discipline. Discipline in children can not be achieved without any discipline through learning process. For that we need a comprehensive research on the development of disciplinary behavior of children aged 5-6 years through habituation. This study used a qualitative method conducted on children aged 5-6 years in class B with the number of children 15 children. The purpose of this research, namely: to know the process of developing self-discipline behavior of children aged 5-6 years in RA At-Taqwa Cipocok Jaya, the role of teachers in developing self-discipline behavior of children aged 5-6 years through habituation. Researchers use data collection techniques by (1) Observation, (2) Interview and (3) Documentation. This study used a qualitative method conducted on children aged 5-6 years in class B with the number of children 15 children. The purpose of this research, namely: to know the process of developing self-discipline behavior of children aged 5-6 years in RA At-Taqwa Cipocok Jaya, the role of teachers in developing self-discipline behavior of children aged 5-6 years through habituation. (2) Interview and (3) Documentation. From the research result, it was found that self-discipline behavior of children aged 5-6 years in Group B RA At-Taqwa Cipocok Jaya showed good discipline behavior . This is seen when the child is accustomed to being on time, the child is present every day, the children lined up neatly before the learning activities, the child reads the prayer before and after the learning activities, the child follows the learner diligently, the child on time, the child throws the trash in place, Toys that have been used. The process of developing self-discipline behavior is to provide habituation and role model of the teacher and use the media and methods in growing the behavior of discipline.

| Additional Information: | Disiplin tumbuh dari kebutuhan. Perilaku disiplin dapat terlihat dari anak ketika berusia dini. Kenyataan yang terjadi bahwa masih sering dijumpai beberapa anak yang menunjukan perilaku rendahnya disiplin diri anak. Disiplin pada anak tidak dapat dicapai begitu saja tanpa adanya penanaman disiplin melalui proses pembelajaran. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian secara komprehensif mengenai pengembangan perilaku disiplin anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui pembiasaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dilakukan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di kelas B dengan jumlah anak 15 anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu : mengetahui proses mengembangkan perilaku disiplin diri anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA At-Taqwa Cipocok Jaya, peran guru dalam mengembangkan perilaku disiplin diri anak usiaa 5-6 tahun melalui pembiasaan. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara (1) Observasi, (2) Wawancara dan (3) Dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa perilaku disiplin diri anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kelompok B RA At-Taqwa Cipocok Jaya menunjukan perilaku disiplin yang baik. Hal ini terlihat ketika anak terbiasa dating tepat waktu, anak hadir setiap hari, anak berbaris dengan rapi sebelum kegiatan pembelajaran, anak membaca doa sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan pembelajaran, anak mengikuti pembelajarandengan tekun, anak tepat waktu, anak membuang sampah pada tempatnya, anak merapihkan kembali mainan yang telah digunakan. Adapun proses mengembangkan perilaku disiplin diri adalah dengan memberikan pembiasaan dan teladan dari guru serta menggunakan media dan metode dalam menumbuhkan perilaku disiplin. | |||||||||
