Abstract
In this paper, we have developed a smart farming system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Arduino UNO microcontroller. The initial study of this research is watering and fertilizing agricultural crops through a mobile application in a smartphone. Furthermore, the solar panel is used as a charger and the GSM Module is used as a sender and receiver of data on each sensor. Finally, we have presented real-time monitoring system of temperature, humidity, soil moisture and light intensity. The results showed the implementation to be useful in agriculture and increasing agricultural productivity.
