Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the importance of students 'creative thinking skills and the use of learning models in supporting the learning process, in social science subjects which are still considered low in Serang 2. Elementary School. This study aims to determine whether there are differences and improvement in students' creative thinking skills. by using the cooperative learning model Teams Game Tournament type is better than students who get learning with direct learning models. The research method used in this study was quasi-experimental with the design of the study was nonequivalent control group design. This study involved two classes consisting of the experimental class and the control class. The population of this study were all fifth grade students of Serang Elementary School 2. The sample of this study was the VA class as the control class and VB as the experimental class. The instruments used in this study were creative thinking ability test instruments and non-test instruments in the form of observation and documentation sheets. The results of the analysis provide the conclusion that the achievement and improvement of the experimental class's creative thinking skills are better than the control class.
