Abstract
This study examines the Feasibility Study of the Marine Aquaculture Business in Indonesia. The study was conducted using a literature review method with a Semi-Systematic approach on two aspects, namely the first is the feasibility of investment using financial criteria parameters, the second is the aspect of carrying capacity of the ecological environment using water quality parameters. The study of ecological carrying capacity using a variety of parameters in the following 14 research articles in the national scope: 1. Depth (m), 2. Brightness (m) 3. Current velocity (cm/s) 4. Water temperature (°C), 5. Salinity (ppt), 6. Acidity (pH), 7. Dissolved oxygen (mg/l), 8. Protection 9. Wave (m), 10. Basic Substrate, 11. Nitrate (mg/l), 12. Phosphate (mg/l), 13. Ammonia (mg/l), 14. Turbidity (NTU), 15. Survival (%). Shows the potential for a fairly broad ecological carrying capacity. Study on the financial aspect using a variety of investment criteria in the following 13 research articles in the national scope: 1. Total investment, 2. Net income, 3. Profit, 4. Breakeven point (BEP) Rupiah, 5. Breakeven point (BEP) Unit, 6. Payback Period, 7. Net B/C Ratio, 8. Revenue Cost Ratio, 11. Total costs, 12. Income analysis, 13. Return on Investment, 14. Net Present Value (NPV), 15. IRR (Internal Rate of Return), 16. Profitability Index. Shows potential economic value that deserves to be developed widely.
