Abstract
Teachers have a very important role to achieve educational goals, especially in order to strengthen the character of students. One of the strengthening of the character that must be owned by a teacher is the competence of personality. With the possession of good personality competence, strengthening the character in students can be done with more optimal. This study aims to find out how the competence of teacher personality in implementing the strengthening of students character SD Negeri Juhut 1. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method, with the type of descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are the techniques of observation and interview, which is then analyzed using Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study can reveal that teachers of SD Negeri Juhut 1 have a good understanding of the concept of personality competence and strengthening of characters and able to implement the competence of the personality, and provide a good impact on the strengthening of student characters.

| Additional Information: | Guru memiliki peran yang sangat penting untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan, khususnya dalam rangka memperkuat karakter siswa. Salah satu penguatan karakter yang wajib dimiliki seorang guru ialah kompetensi kepribadian. Dengan dimilikinya kompetensi kepribadian yang baik, penguatan karakter pada siswa bisa terlaksana dengan lebih optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kompetensi kepribadian guru dalam melaksanakan penguatan karakter siswa SD Negeri Juhut 1. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif, dengan jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang yang digunakan ialah teknik observasi dan wawancara., yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat mengungkapkan bahwa guru SD Negeri Juhut 1 telah memiliki pemahaman yang baik mengenai konsep kompetensi kepribadian dan penguatan karakter serta mampu mengimplementasikan kompetensi kepribadian, serta memberikan dampak yang baik terhadap penguatan karakter siswa. | |||||||||
