Abstract
This research aims to obtain data and information about the use of the media learning Quite Book of Activity Daily Living as alternative learning media in improving the ability of self care for the community and take care of themselves child mental retardation are class IV SDLB in SKh Samantha Serang through learning media Quite Book of Activity Daily Living. This research is experimental research with Pre-Experimental Design using design one group pretest posttest design. In this design there is a pretest, where researchers look at the learners at the time before the treatment given After seeing the results of a pretest is given preferential treatment. The treatment given to this research is given a learning exercise self care for the community and take care of themselves. After being given the treatment, performed posttest, where researchers see the results of the treatment has been carried out by researchers. Sample techniques used in this research is purposive sampling is a technique of determining the sample with particular consideration of the subject is students mental retardation are class IV at a special school Samantha Serang. With a population of as many as 3 students. The components were analyzed in this study i.e. bina upgrade themselves to take care and take care of themselves. The results of the research showed the existence of a positive influence on the use of alternative learning media Quite Book of Activity Daily Living against the ability of the community development student mental retardation. It can be seen an increase in the ability of the community development student based on analysis of data by using a percentage increase in overall student obtained F increase of 61.11% of students D increase of 51.73% and M increase of 63.87% of these Things indicate that the ability of self care for the community and take care of yourself students increased, with using alternative media quite book of daily living activity in children mental retardation are class IV at SKh Samantha Serang.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data dan informasi tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran Quite Book of Activity Daily Living sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bina diri merawat dan mengurus diri anak tunagrahita sedang kelas IV SDLB di SKh Samantha Kota Serang melalui media pembelajaran Quite Book of Activity Daily Living. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan Pre Experimental Design dengan memakai desain one group pretest posttest design. Dalam desain ini terdapat pretest, dimana peneliti melihat peserta didik pada saat sebelum diberikan perlakuan Setelah melihat hasil dari pretest tersebut diberikan perlakuan. Perlakuan yang diberikan pada penelitian ini ialah diberikan pembelajaran latihan bina diri merawat dan mengurus diri. Setelah diberikan perlakuan, dilakukan posttest, dimana peneliti melihat hasil dari perlakukan yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti. Teknik sampel yang digunakan penelitian ini ialah purposive sampling merupakan teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu Subjek penelitian merupakan siswa tunagrahita sedang kelas IV di Sekolah Khusus Samantha Kota Serang. Dengan jumlah sebanyak 3 orang siswa. Komponen yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini yaitu peningkatan kemampuan bina diri merawat dan mengurus diri. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh positif penggunaan media pembelajaran alternatif Quite Book of Activity Daily Living terhadap kemampuan bina diri siswa tunagrahita sedang. Hal ini dapat dilihat adanya peningkatan kemampuan bina diri siswa Berdasarkan anlisis data dengan menggunakan persentase kenaikan secara keseluruhan yang diperoleh siswa F mengalami kenaikan sebesar 61,11% siswa D mengalami kenaikan sebesar 51,73% dan M mengalami kenaikan sebesar 63,87% Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa kemampuan bina diri merawat dan mengurus diri siswa meningkat baik, dengan menggunakan media alternative quite book of activity daily living pada anak tunagrahita sedang kelas IV di SKh Samantha Kota Serang. | |||||||||
