Abstract
This research aimed to describe the phase in making pop-up media about the geometry material for 4 th grade of elementary school, to find out the validity level of pop-up media developed, and to find out the student’s response about the pop-up media . This research held in SDN Tamansari II Pulomerak with 32 students of 4 grade as the subject. Here is the details, 8 students at the limited trial and 24 students at the trial ( a wider group ). This research used the development model of Research and Development (RnD). This model consisting of 10 stages; ( 1 ) the potential for and the problem ( identification issues ) ( 2 ) the collection of information ( 3 ) design a product ( 4 ) validation design ( 5) design improvement ( 6 ) trial the product ( 7 ) the revision of the product ( 8 ) trial the product ( 9 ) the final stage of revision product. In this research, researcher used the theory until the final stage of revision product. The instrument in this research is the questionnaire for the media validation by the lecturer, teacher, and the questionnaire for the student’s response. Research result based on analysis of the data can be summed up the quality of pop-up media developed is in the proper category with the percentage 84.62% of 2 expert material and 82.35% of media expert. Student’s response to the pop-up media on the trial with 8 respondents of 94.38 % belong to the very good category and on the trial with 24 respondents of 94.79 % beong to the very good category. The conclusion of this research the pop-up media very proper to be used on geometry material and student’s response to the pop-up media showed very good category.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan dalam membuat media Pop Up pada materi bangun ruang di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas media Pop Up yang dikembangkan dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media Pop Up. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Tamansari II Pulomerak dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV sejumlah 32 siswa dengan rincian 8 siswa pada uji coba terbatas dan 24 siswa pada uji coba pemakaian (kelompok yang lebih luas). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan Research and Development (RnD). Model ini terdiri dari 9 tahap; : (1) potensi dan masalah (identifikasi masalah) (2) pengumpulan informasi (3) desain produk (4) validasi desain (5) perbaikan desain (6) uji coba produk (7) revisi produk (8) uji coba pemakaian (9) revisi produk tahap akhir. Pada penelitian ini hanya terbatas sampai revisi tahap akhir. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar angket untuk validasi media oleh dosen ahli serta guru dan lembar angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis data yang digunakan bahwa kualitas media pop up yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak dengan presentase 84.62% dari 2 ahli materi dan 82.35% dari ahli media. Respon siswa terhadap media pop up pada uji coba dengan 8 responden sebesar 94.38% dengan kategori sangat baik dan pada uji coba dengan 16 responden sebesar 94.79%. dengan kategori sangat baik. kesimpulan dari penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu media pop up sangat layak untuk digunakan pada materi bangun ruang dan respon siswa terhadap media pop up menunjukan katagori sangat baik. | |||||||||
