Abstract

This research aims to obtain characteristics physics learning game on the concept of substance change and to determine the feasibility of media physics game learning developed in the concept of substance change. The research method used consisted of five steps namely needs analysis, learning design, media development, product evaluation and product production with research and development research design. Some researchers found students who experienced misconceptions in the concept of substance change. Learning media that are interesting and not boring. There are still not many game simulation media that develop even though children play more often. The average score of media expert validation score is 96% with very feasible categories, the average material expert validation score is 98% with a decent category and the response average results. 86% of students with a good category. Thus it can be concluded that the physics characteristics of learning games is a simulation in the form of a simple game that displays the process of changing matter visually and microscopically properly to become an alternative medium in learning in the classroom.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan karakteristik media physics game learning pada konsep perubahan wujud zat dan mengetahui kelayakan media physics game learning yang dikembangkan pada konsep perubahan wujud zat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan terdiri lima langkah yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain pembelajaran, pengembangan media, evaluasi produk dan produksi produk dengan desain penelitian research and development. Beberapa peneliti menemukan siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada konsep perubahan wujud zat. Media pembelajaran yang menarik dan tidak membosankan. Media simulasi game masih belum banyak yang mengembangkan padahal anak lebih sering bermain.Hasil rata-rata skor penilaian validasi ahli media sebesar 96% dengan kategori sangat layak, rata-rata skor validasi ahli materi sebesar 98% dengan kategori layak dan hasil rata-rata respon siswa sebesar 86% dengan kategori sangan baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik physics game learning merupakan simulasi berbentuk game sederhana yang menampilkan proses perubahan wujud zat secara visual dan mikroskopis layak menjadi media alternatif dalam pembelajaran dikelas.
