Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan konsep diri dengan motivasi berprestasi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang dianalisa secara deskriptif dan korelasional. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan secara (random sampling), dihitung dengan rumus Slovin sehingga mendapatkan Sampel sebanyak 190 Siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 7 Kota Serang dengan karakteristik yang telah ditentukan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala ukur konsep diri dan motivasi berprestasi dengan masing-masing pernyataan 40 item. Hasil uji reliabilitas konsep diri sebesar 0.761 dan hasil uji reliabilitas motivasi berprestasi sebesar 0.869. Hasil pengujian uji F diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 117.917, jika dibandingkan dengan Ftabel pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 8.89 maka Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel lebih besar dari Ftabel yang artinya hipotesis menyatakan terdapat pengaruh positif antara konsep diri dengan motivasi berprestasi di SMPN 7 Kota Serang. Hasil uji regresi diperoleh data sig 0.00 < 0.05 dan nilai R2 sebesar 38.5% . Sumbangan efektif konsep diri terhadap motivasi berprestasi sebesar 23.90%.

| Additional Information: | The purpose of research is to know the correlation of self-concept with the motivation of achieving students. . This type of research is a descriptive and correlational analytical study. The data retrieval technique were done (randomly sampling), calculated with Slovin formula that resulted of 90 students as sample. The research subject is a grade VII SMPN 7 Kota Serang with predefined characteristics. Data collection techniques using scale of self-concept measurement and achievement motivation with each 40 item statement. The results of a self-concept reliability test of 0761 and an accomplished motivation reliability test of 0869. F test result obtained fcount of 117,917, when compared with ftable at a significant rate of 5% by 8.89 then fcalculate greater than Ftabel greater than Ftabel which means hypotheses states there is a positive influence between the concept With the achievement motivation in SMPN 7 Kota Serang. Regression test results obtained 0.00 < 0.05 sig Data and R2 value of 38.5%. Effective donation of self-concept to achievement motivation of 23.90%. | |||||||||
