Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-postfacto. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai hubungan antara kecerdasan naturalis dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan dan faktor lain yang mempengaruhinya selain kecerdasan naturalis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2018. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 6 di Kota Serang tahun akademik 2018/2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Sampel sebanyak 30 siswa yaitu kelas X MIPA 2. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tertulis, dokumentasi, LKS, observasi, serta kuisioner. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi dan uji linieritas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis regresi sederhana dengan persamaan Ŷ = 54,274 + 0,370X adalah signifikan dan linier. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kuantitatif diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi (ry) antara kecerdasan naturalis dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa sebesar 0,479. Nilai koefisien korelasi ini menunjukan bahwa hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima, berarti kecerdasan naturalis memberikan kontribusi sedang terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa. Dalam penelitian ini, terdapat faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kemampuan kognitif siswa antara lain, strategi dan metode pembelajaran dan pengembangan media pembelajaran di sekolah.

| Additional Information: | This research is an ex-postfacto research. The goal of this research was to obtain information about the relationship between naturalist intelligence with students cognitive abilities on environmental pollution materials and other factors that influence it in addition to naturalist intelligence. This research was conducted in May 2018. The population of this research were the students of SMA Negeri 6 in Serang City academic year 2018/2019. The sampling technique using simple random sampling. Samples of 30 students was class X MIPA 2. Methods of data collection were done by written test, documentation, LKS, observation, and questionnaire. Based on the result of regression test and linearity test it can be concluded that simple regression analysis with equation Ŷ = 54,274 + 0,370X is significant and linear. Based on the results of quantitative research obtained correlation coefficient (ry) between naturalist intelligence with students cognitive abilities of 0.479. The value of this correlation coefficient indicates that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted, meaning naturalist intelligence contributes moderately to students cognitive abilities. In this research, there are other factors that influence students' cognitive abilities, among others, strategies and methods of learning and the development of learning media in schools. | |||||||||
