Abstract

ABSTRAK Herlina, 7771150043,Penerapan Metode Bermain Peran ( Role Playing ) untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan dan Minat Berbicara Siswa Kelas V-C SDN Kadumerak 1 Kecamatan Karangtanjung Pandeglang. Tesis Pascasarjana Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan dan minat berbicara siswa kelas V-C SDN Kadumerak 1 sebanyak 34 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari tanggal 13 Mei 2017 sampai 05 Juni 2017. Adapun metode penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 3 siklus. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan ,tes berbicara, dan observasi aktivitas siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan hasil berikut ini (1) penerapan metode bermain peran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan Minat berbicara Pada siklus I hasil tes berbicara aspek tema dan latar cerita siswa mendapatkan nilai 2100 dengan rata-rata adalah 61,76 termasuk tidak tuntas KKM, sedangkan pada siklus II nilai hasil belajar berbicara aspek tema dan latar cerita adalah 2400 rata-rata 70,59 termasuk tuntas baru tercapai KKM dimana ada siswa yang masih belum tuntas KKM dan pada siklus III nilai rata-rata kemampuan bebicara siswa mencapai nilai 2630 dengan nilai rata-rata 77,35. Sedangkan pada tes berbicara aspek dialog, siklus I mencapai 2176 dengan rata – rata nilai 64,00 , pada siklus II mencapai nilai 2416 dengan rata – rata nilai 71,07 dan pada siklus III mencapai nilai 2616 dengan rata – rata nilai 76,94. Artinya pada siklus III kemampuan dan minat berbicara siswa meningkat dan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 100%(2) Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Metode Bermain peran termasuk kategori BAIK . Kata kunci: metode bermain peran ( Role Playing ) , kemampuan dan Minat berbicara siswa.

The objectives of the research were to increase students’ Speaking ability and Interest , to know students’ activity on the learning process and to know students’ response of Role Playing Method. The subjects of the research were 34 students of class V-C of SDN Kadumerak 1. This research had held on 13th May 2017 until 05th June 2017. The research method used classroom action research which consisted of 3 cycles. Data collecting techniques used writing test, oral test by dialogue and students’ and teacher’s activities observation. Data analysis results were (1) Implementation to increase the Speaking ability and interest . The speaking ability of theme aspect and story based in 1st cycle was 2100 the average score was 61,76, it showed that student did not pass the minimum criteria. Meanwhile in the 2nd cycle the speaking ability of theme aspect and story based was 2400 and the average score was 70,59 and it showed that the students had pass the minimum criteria about 74% but it has not pass maximally yet and need 3rd cycle and the result was 2630 and the average score 77,35. Meanwhile in the 1st cycle the score was 2176 and the average was 64,00, it showed that the student had not pass the minimum criteria yet, meanwhile in the 2nd cycle the score was 2416 and the average was 71,06, need 3rd cycle to get the result 2616 and the average was 76,94 it meant that in the 3rd cycle students’ speaking skill and interest have been increased and the minimum criteria was 100% (2 ) Students’ respond positive categorized.
