Abstract

The purpose of this research was to saw the influenced of role playing techniques on students' self-confidence. This study used a pre-experimental method with one group pre-post test design. The study population was 173 students and the research sample was taken using purposive sampling, in which as many as 12 students from class IX of SMPN 10 Serang City. Data collection techniques use student confidence instruments. The results of the study show that role playing techniques could have an effect on increasing the confidence of IX grade students of SMPN 10 Serang City.

Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh dari teknik role playing terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode praeksperimen dengan desain one group pre-post test design. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 173 siswa dan pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling, yaitu sebanyak 12 siswa dari kelas IX SMPN 10 Kota Serang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kepercayaan diri siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik role playing dapat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas IX SMPN 10 Kota Serang.
