Abstract
The aim of this research to know the influence of mini research learning on verbal communication skills and problem solving of students at the first grade senior high school in SMAN 4 Pandeglang on the concept of ecosystem. The researcher used quasi experiment method. The population of this research are first grade students of SMAN 4 Pandeglang, the sample used is two classes consisting X MIPA 1 as the experimental class and second class X MIPA 6 as the control class. The instrument used are sheets of research reports, essay and sheets of observation. The researcher used One Way Manova test as data analysis technique. Based on the results of the researcher, the results of hypothesis testing were univariate, namely 0,000 in writing communication skills and 0,000 in the ability to solve conservation problems. Multivariate testing obtained a value of 0,000. It can be concluded that there is an influence of mini research learning on the communication skills of SMAN 4 Pandeglang students writing on ecosystem concepts, there is an influence of mini research learning on the problem solving skills of SMAN 4 Pandeglang students on ecosystem concepts and there is a significant influence on mini research learning on writing communication skills and problem solving skills of conservation at SMAN 4 Pandenglang students on the concept of ecosystem.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran mini riset terhadap kemampuan komunikasi tulisan dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas X SMAN 4 Pandeglang pada konsep ekosistem. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 4 Pandeglang tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian laporan, tes uraian, dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji One Way Manova. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil uji hipotesis secara univariat yaitu 0,000 pada kemampuan komunikasi tulisan dan 0,000 pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah konservasi. Pengujian secara multivariat diperoleh nilai 0,000. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran mini riset terhadap kemampuan komunikasi tulisan siswa SMAN 4 Pandeglang pada konsep ekosistem, terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran mini riset terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah konservasi siswa SMAN 4 Pandeglang pada konsep ekosistem, dan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran mini riset terhadap kemampuan komunikasi tulisan dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMAN 4 Pandeglang pada konsep ekosistem. | |||||||||
