Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan modul pembelajaran keanekaragaman hayati berbasis pendekatan saintifik kontekstual melalui pemanfaatan buah-buahan lokal, yang diketahui dari hasil belajar siswa, kesulitan yang dialami guru selama pembelajaran, dan respon siswa terhadap modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) lanjutan pada tahap uji coba skala terbatas yang dilaksanakan pada kelas X MIPA SMAN 5 Kota Serang sebanyak 38 siswa. Pengambilan sampel ini dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penerapan modul ini yaitu tes objektif berupa soal pilihan ganda, lembar penilaian afektif, lembar penilaian psikomotorik, angket respon siswa, jurnal refleksi guru, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa 92,10% siswa tuntas pada ranah kognitif; 89,47% siswa tuntas pada ranah afektif; dan 81,58% siswa tuntas pada ranah psikomotor. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon, sebanyak 89,48% siswa menyatakan sangat layak; 5,26% siswa menyatakan layak; dan 5,26% menyatakan cukup layak. Kesimpulan dari data yang dihasilkan yaitu modul pembelajaran keanekaragaman buah-buahan lokal di Banten berbasis pendekatan saintifik kontekstual yang dikembangkan sangat efektif terhadap ranah kognitif dan afektif, serta efektif terhadap ranah psikomotor. Modul pembelajaran keanekaragaman buah-buahan lokal di Banten berbasis pendekatan saintifik kontekstual juga sangat layak untuk diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran sebagai bahan ajar pada konsep keanekaragaman hayati.

Additional Information: The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application the biodiversity learning module based on a contextual scientific approach through the use of local fruits, which was known from student learning outcomes, difficulties experienced by teachers during learning, and student’s response to the developed learning module. The study was a Research and Development (R&D) continued in the limited scale trial stage, that was conducted in the X-MIPA class of SMAN 5 Kota Serang as many as 38 students. Sampling was done by using a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in the application this module were objective tests in the form of multiple choice questions, affective assessment sheets, psychomotor assessment sheets, student response questionnaires, teacher reflection journals, and learning implementation observation sheets. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it can be seen that 92,10% of students complete the cognitive domain; 89,47% of students complete the affective domain; and 81.58% of students complete the psychomotor domain. Based on the results of the response questionnaire 89.48 % of students stated that the module is very feasible; 5.26% of students stated feasible; and 5,26% stated that they were moderate. So, it can be concluded that the biodiversity learning module based on a contextual scientific approach through the use of local fruits which is developed is very feasible to cognitive and affective aspect and feasible to psychomotor aspect. The biodiversity learning module based on a contextual scientific approach through the use of local fruits is very feasible to be applied for learning process as teaching materials on the concept of biodiversity.
