Abstract
This study was aimed to examine the application of the combined guided inquiry – media comic on studen’s cognitive abilities. This was quasi experimental study with the posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all students of 11 th grade science class at SMAN 6 Serang City, with purposive sampling technique sampling. The sample in this study was the students of 11 th grade science class 1 as an experimental class and 11 grade science class 3 as ac control class. The results of study on average value posttest experimental class is higger than the control class is 76,96 to 72,61. From the analysis it concluded that guided inquiry – media comic on students cognitive abilities SMAN 6 Serang City on subconcept of digestive system disturbance.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan media komik terhadap kemampuan kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (Quasy Experiment) dengan rancangan Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI semester II SMAN 6 Kota Serang tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik Purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan rata rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen lebih besar yaitu 76,96 dari pada kelas control yaitu 72,61. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing dengan menggunakan media komik berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa SMAN 6 kota Serang pada subkonsep gangguan sistem pencernaan. | |||||||||
