Abstract
This research aimed to know students affective and cognitive abilities in zat additive material through the problem based learning model (PBL) at the eight grade students of MTsN Model Pandeglang 1. The researcher used descriptive research method. The design of the research was on shot study cash. The population of this research was an the VIII of MTsN Model Pandeglang 1 academic year 2014/2015. The sample of this research was the students of VIII B class. The technique was random sampling. The research instruments were quesionare and test. The quesionare was used to measure students affective ability. The research used multiple choice test to measure students cognitive ability. The mean score of students affective ability was on exelent category 88,3. The mean score of students cognitive ability was on good category 74,3. Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan afektif dan kognitif siswa kelas VIII materi Zat Aditif pada Makanan melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di MTsN Model Pandeglang 1. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang menggunakan desain penelitian one shot study cash. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTsN Model Pandeglang 1 tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIIIB. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dan tes. Angket untuk mengukur kemampuan afektif siswa dan tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur kemampuan kognitif siswa. Pada kemampuan afektif memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 88,3 dengan kategori sangat baik. Untuk kemampuan kognitif memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 74,3 dengan kategori baik.
