Abstract

ABSTRACT Mila Nurlaila, NIM: 7771150026. The exposition Paragraph Writing Skills Influenced by Learning Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) and Motivation in Class VIII SMP Islam Pariskian, 2016. The research was done in VIII grade at SMP Islam Pariskian, by using the experimental methode through Experimental design Treatment 2x2. The quantitative data obtained through the writing test and learning motivation questioner. To analysis the data the researcher using 2-way ANOVA and processed with SPSS 23.0 programme. The results showed that: (1) there are significant differences between the students‟ writing skills of exposition paragraph by using Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) model to students who used Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model, (2) there are differences in learning writing skills of exposition paragraph toward students of Islam Pariskian who have high and low learning motivation, (3) there are interaction between the learning model application of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) and learning motivation toward students‟ writing skills of exposition paragraph at SMP Islam Pariskian, (4) there are differences in the students‟ writing skills of exposition paragraph at SMP Islam Pariskian that used Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) and Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model toward students group who have high learning motivation, (5) there are differences in the students‟ writing skills of exposition paragraph at SMP Islam Pariskian that used Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) and Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model toward students group who have low learning motivation, (6) there are differences in the students‟ writing skills of exposition paragraph SMP Islam Pariskian who have high and low learning motivation toward students group that used Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model, (7) there are differences in the students‟ writing skills of exposition paragraph of SMP Islam Pariskian who have high and low learning motivation toward students group that used Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model. It concluded that writing skills of exposition paragraph would be better if using CIRC model through high learning motivation. Penelitian di kelas VIII SMP Islam Pariskian, menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain Experimen by Treatment 2x2. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui tes menulis dan tes motivasi belajar. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA 2 jalur serta diolah menggunakan program SPSS 23.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan menulis paragraf eksposisi siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), (2) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan belajar menulis paragraf eksposisi siswa SMP Islam Pariskian yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi dan motivasi belajar rendah, (3) terdapat interaksi antara penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dan motivasi belajar terhadap keterampilan menulis paragraf eksposisi siswa di SMP Islam Pariskian, (4) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis paragraf eksposisi siswa SMP Islam Pariskian yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dan model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi, (5) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis paragraf eksposisi siswa SMP Islam Pariskian yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dan model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah, (6) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis paragraf eksposisi siswa SMP Islam Pariskian yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi dan yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah pada kelompok siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC), (7) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis paragraf eksposisi siswa SMP Islam Pariskian yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi dan yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah pada kelompok siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD).
