Abstract

The river is a stream of water whose main source comes from nature that flows from having a height to a lower or shorter place and then empties into lakes, seas or rivers with greater presence. Lack of river management can cause floods that result in loss of property, human soul, environment or habitat, and paralysis of human activities and income. This research was conducted to find out the areas affected by the flood from the Cilemer river, which can then produce policy recommendations in flood control so that the goals are achieved maximally. In this research, the steps are to get the desired research results, namely to get data from the related institutions, namely Banten Province PSDA, analyze with several tests and the MAF (Mean Annual Flood) method and then process the data using software namely HEC-RAS 5.0.6 . From the results of the study it was found that in the study area, namely the Cilemer River HM 00 + 00 until HM 153 + 00 experienced flooding due to a reservoir that could not accommodate. With a return period of 100 years using the Peak Over Threshold method at getting debit 1794,4151 m3 / s. This research shows that modeling using the HEC-RAS program has a very important role in flood research.
