Abstract
Early reading learning using Flash Card learning media requires methods that can support the learning process. One of the methods used is the syllable method. This study aims to: 1) describe the feasibility of developing Flash Card learning media for traditional food syllables to train early reading skills in grade 1 elementary school students; 2) to describe the process of using media to improve early reading skills in grade 1 elementary school students; 3) to describe student responses to the use of Flash Card learning media with the theme of local wisdom on traditional food to train early reading skills in grade 1 elementary school students. The development process was carried out through the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation results showed that this media was included in the "Very Feasible" category with an average feasibility percentage of 82%, including assessments from media experts (80.26%), material experts (93.3%), and language experts (72.25%). In addition, the response from students showed a satisfaction level of 79%, which was also included in the "Very Feasible" category. This media has proven to be effective and interesting as a learning aid, especially in introducing Banten local wisdom through traditional food material. This study also provides recommendations for students, teachers, schools, and further researchers to Flash Card, early reading, traditional food, local wisdom, development media, ADDIE.

| Additional Information: | Pembelajaran membaca permulaan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Flash Card membutuhkan metode yang dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran. Salah satu cara yang digunakan adalah metode suku kata. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan pengembangan media pembelajaran Flash Card suku kata makanan tradisional untuk melatih kemampuan membaca permulaan pada peserta didik kelas 1 sekolah dasar; 2) untuk mendeskripsikan proses penggunaan media dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada peserta didik kelas 1 sekolah dasar; 3) untuk mendeskripsikan respons peserta didik pada penggunaan media pembelajaran Flash Card tema kearifan lokal pada makanan tradisional untuk melatih kemampuan membaca permulaan pada peserta didik kelas 1sekolah dasar. Proses pengembangan dilakukan melalui model ADDIE yang meliputi tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media ini termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan persentase kelayakan rata-rata 82%, meliputi penilaian ahli media (80,26%), ahli materi (93,3%), dan ahli bahasa (72,25%). Selain itu, respon dari peserta didik menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan sebesar 79%, yang juga masuk dalam kategori "Sangat Layak". Media ini terbukti efektif dan menarik sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran, khususnya dalam mengenalkan kearifan lokal Banten melalui materi makanan tradisional.
