Abstract
ABSTRAK Dinda Esti Wulandari. 22892100014 Implementasi Metode Discovery Learning dalam Proses Penciptaan Tari Kreasi pada Siswa Kelas XI MAN 1 Pandeglang: Skripsi. Jurusan Pendidikan Seni Pertunjukan. Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan Discovery Learning dalam proses penciptaan tari kreasi serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa enam tahapan Discovery Learning yaitu stimulation, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verification, dan generalization berjalan efektif dalam mendorong kreativitas, keberanian bereksperimen, dan kemandirian siswa. Faktor internal seperti motivasi, minat, dan imajinasi berperan penting, sedangkan faktor eksternal meliputi peran guru, dukungan orang tua, serta kesempatan tampil dari sekolah. Kendala berupa keterbatasan ruang, fasilitas, dan kepercayaan diri siswa dapat diatasi melalui strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif. Secara keseluruhan, metode Discovery Learning terbukti relevan dan efektif dalam pembelajaran tari kreasi. The Implementation of Discovery Learning Method in the Creative Dance Making Process of 11th Grade Students at MAN 1 Pandeglang: Undergraduate Thesis. Department of Performing Arts Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Discovery Learning method in the creative dance-making process and to identify the internal and external factors that influence it. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the six stages of Discovery Learning—stimulation, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verification, and generalization—effectively enhance students’ creativity, confidence in experimenting, and independence in learning. Internal factors such as motivation, interest, and imagination play an important role, while external factors include the teacher’s facilitation, parental support, and school opportunities for performance. Challenges such as limited space, inadequate facilities, and low self-confidence were managed through adaptive teaching strategies.
