Abstract
This study analyzes the costs, revenue, and economic feasibility of processing green waste, specifically leaf waste, into compost at Toko Sadean Acitya, an urban farming business located in South Tangerang City. The research was conducted from November 2024 to December 2025 using a quantitative descriptive method to measure production costs, revenue, and efficiency through the R/C ratio. The types and sources of data used include primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews and observations, while secondary data were collected from literature and relevant institutional sources. The results of the study show that the total cost of this business is IDR 14,700,000 per month, consisting of fixed costs of IDR 8,700,000 and variable costs of IDR 6,000,000. The compost production yielded 2,500 kg of pure compost, generating revenue of IDR 37,500,000 per month, resulting in a net income of IDR 22,800,000. The study also found an R/C ratio of 2,55, indicating that this business is feasible to operate as it generates profits exceeding total production costs.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini menganalisis biaya, penerimaan, dan kelayakan ekonomi pengolahan limbah hijau, khususnya limbah daun, menjadi kompos di Toko Sadean Acitya, sebuah usaha pertanian perkotaan yang berlokasi di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2024 hingga Desember 2025 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengukur biaya produksi, penerimaan, serta efisiensi usaha melalui analisis rasio R/C. Jenis dan sumber data yang digunakan meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi, sedangkan data sekunder dikumpulkan dari literatur dan sumber institusi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total biaya usaha ini sebesar Rp14.700.000 per bulan, yang terdiri atas biaya tetap sebesar Rp8.700.000 dan biaya variabel sebesar Rp6.000.000. Produksi kompos menghasilkan 2.500 kg kompos murni dengan penerimaan sebesar Rp37.500.000 per bulan, sehingga diperoleh pendapatan bersih sebesar Rp22.800.000. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan nilai rasio R/C sebesar 2,55, yang mengindikasikan bahwa usaha ini layak untuk dijalankan karena menghasilkan keuntungan yang melebihi total biaya produksi. | |||||||||
