Abstract
The mangosteen fruit commodity has a global market status, and its marketing has expanded into the international market in several countries. This type of research employs a descriptive method with a mixed-methods approach (quantitative and qualitative). Indonesia has great potential to increase mangosteen exports in the international market. This study analyzes the international export market potential of Indonesian mangosteen in China, Hong Kong, and the United Arab Emirates using Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Export Product Dynamic (EPD), and X-Model approaches. It further evaluates the supporting conditions for mangosteen export development in Cipanas Subdistrict through Porter’s Diamond framework, focusing on factor conditions, demand conditions, related and supporting industries, and government involvement. The results indicate that Cipanas mangosteen demonstrates favorable export prospects in Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates, while China remains a potential market. However, the Porter’s Diamond analysis reveals structural constraints related to human and knowledge factors, supporting industries, firm strategy and rivalry, and government support, which significantly influence the competitiveness and development of Cipanas mangosteen exports.
