Abstract

Significant transformations in information and communication technology have brought about far-reaching developments, including in the field of education. Information technology plays a role in adapting methods, environments, and evolving dynamics in education through the application of creative and proactive innovation. The lack of utilization of multimedia-based learning media can create problems during the learning process, including a lack of student engagement. A similar situation occurs in mastering the competency of precision mechanical measuring instruments at the vocational high school level. Many students are unable to understand how to use precision mechanical measuring instruments due to the limited learning media available in schools, which rely solely on whiteboards, PowerPoint presentations, and simple practice tools without animation or simulation-based media. Needs: This research aims to develop interactive, website-based learning media to improve student understanding of mechanical measuring instruments using the DDD-E development model, which includes the stages of decide, design, develop, and evaluate. The learning media was designed using platforms such as Google Sites and Visual Studio Code to present material interactively with animations and question evaluations. Validation by material and media experts yielded scores of 0.777778 and 0.6875, respectively, both of which were deemed valid. The response from subject teachers and students was also very positive, with a practicality rating of 93.33% and an effectiveness rating of 87%. These results demonstrate that website-based learning media is effective, practical, and innovative in supporting the teaching and learning process in vocational schools, particularly for mechanical measuring instruments.

Additional Information: Transformasi yang signifikan dalam teknologi informasi dan kamunikasi membawa perkembangan yang sangat luas, tak terkecuali pada bidang pendidikan. Teknologi informasi berperan dalam menyesuaikan metode, lingkungan dan dinamika yang berkembang dalam penyelenggaraan Pendidikan melalui penerapan inovasi yang kreatif dan proaktif. kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia dapat menimbulkan masalah pada saat proses pembelajaran, diantaranya proses pombelajaran yang kurang menarik peserta didik. Situasi serupa juga terjadi dalam penguasaan kompetensi penggunaan alat ukur mekanik presisi di tingkat SMK. Banyaknya siswa belum mampu memahami cara menggunakan alat ukur mekanik presisi akibat terbatasnya media pembelajaran di sekolah yang hanya mengandalkan papan tulis, power point, dan alat praktik sederhana tanapa adanya media berbasis animasi atau simulasi. Kebutuhan akan Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis website untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi alat ukur mekanik menggunakan model pengembangan DDD-E, yang meliputi tahap decide, design, develop, dan evaluate. Media pembelajaran dirancang menggunakan platform seperti Google Sites dan Visual Studio Code untuk menyajikan materi secara interaktif dengan animasi dan evaluasi soal. Validasi ahli materi dan media menunjukkan skor masing-masing 0,78 dan 0,68, keduanya dinyatakan valid. Respons dari guru mata pelajaran dan peserta didik juga sangat positif, dengan tingkat kepraktisan 93,33% dan keefektifan 87%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis website efektif, praktis, dan inovatif dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar di SMK, terutama untuk materi alat ukur mekanik.
