Abstract

The increasing number of motor vehicles in Indonesia indicates the growing need for adequate parking facilities, particularly in high-activity areas such as university campuses. Parking management issues at the Faculty of Engineering, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University include limited information on parking space availability, vehicle accumulation in certain areas, irregular parking behavior, and weak monitoring of vehicle entry and exit. This study aims to design and develop a web-based motor vehicle management information system integrated with a database and QR Code to provide real-time parking information and support more orderly and efficient parking management. The research method employed is the Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST), which consists of Scope Definition using the PIECES Framework, Problem Analysis, Requirement Analysis, Logical Design, Physical Design, and Construction and Testing. The system was developed using the WIX platform with the JavaScript programming language and utilizes integrated databases, including Member Data, Vehicle Data, Entry-Exit Data, and Parking Status Data. QR Codes are used as the primary input medium for vehicle identification and real-time parking data updates in each parking area. System testing was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and Blackbox Testing. The results indicate that the developed website is able to assist academic community members in parking their vehicles easily and efficiently. Usability testing resulted in a SUS score of 82, classified as Acceptable with a B grade and Good rating, while Blackbox Testing confirmed that all system functions operated as expected. The developed system is proven to enhance parking management efficiency, provide real-time parking information, and is feasible as a digital solution for motor vehicle management at the Faculty of Engineering, UNTIRTA.

Additional Information: Meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia menunjukkan dibutuhkannya sarana pendukung parkir kendaraan, khususnya pada wilayah aktif seperti kampus. Permasalahan parkir kendaraan bermotor di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa meliputi keterbatasan informasi ketersediaan lahan parkir, penumpukan kendaraan pada area tertentu, parkir yang tidak teratur, serta lemahnya pengawasan kendaraan keluar dan masuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi manajemen kendaraan bermotor berbasis website yang terintegrasi dengan database dan QR Code guna menyediakan informasi parkir secara real-time serta mendukung pengelolaan parkir yang lebih tertib dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST), yang mencakup tahapan Scope Definition menggunakan PIECES Framework, Problem Analysis, Requirement Analysis, Logical Design, Physical Design, serta Construction and Testing. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan platform WIX dengan bahasa pemrograman JavaScript dan memanfaatkan database DaftarAnggota, DaftarKendaraan, KeluarMasuk, dan StatusParkir yang saling terintegrasi. QR Code digunakan sebagai media input utama untuk identifikasi kendaraan dan pembaruan data parkir pada setiap area. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) dan Blackbox Testing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan website ini mampu membantu civitas dalam melakukan parkir dengan mudah dan cepat. Pengujian usability menunjukkan skor SUS sebesar 82 yang termasuk kategori Acceptable dengan grade B dan rating Good, sedangkan hasil Blackbox Testing menunjukkan seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai kebutuhan. Sistem yang dirancang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan parkir, memberikan informasi parkir secara real-time, serta layak digunakan sebagai solusi digital manajemen kendaraan bermotor di Fakultas Teknik UNTIRTA.
