Abstract
The growing presence of digital platforms is not only used as a means of entertainment but also as an intensive interactive medium between idols and fans. Interactive features such as feeds, live streaming, and comments on the Weverse app are utilized by fans as a place to interact and build emotional closeness with their idols. One K-Pop boy group that has many fans in Indonesia is Tomorrow X Together (TXT) with its active MOA (Moments of Alwaysness) fandom on Weverse. This phenomenon is interesting when fans, especially Indonesian MOA, utilize the platform to build Parasocial Relationships with their idols. This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of Parasocial Relationships on Celebrity Worship between TXT idols and fans in Indonesia on the Weverse app, with relevance to the concepts of Parasocial Relationships and celebrity worship. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and employs the Uses and Gratification theory. The results of data analysis in this study obtained an R value of 0.930 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the Parasocial Relationship has a positive and significant effect on celebrity worship. Spearman's Rank correlation value of 0.632 falls into the strong category. The R square value is 0.393, which means that the influence of Parasocial Relationships on Celebrity Worship among Indonesian TXT (MOA) fans on the Weverse app is 39.3%, while the remaining 60.7% is influenced by other variables outside this study.

Adanya fitur interaktif seperti feed, live streaming, dan komentar di aplikasi Weverse dimanfaatkan oleh penggemar sebagai tempat untuk berinteraksi serta membangun kedekatan emosional dengan idol. Salah satu boygroup K-Pop yang memiliki banyak penggemar di Indonesia adalah Tomorrow X Together (TXT) dengan fandom MOA (Moments of Alwaysness) yang aktif di Weverse, fenomena ini menarik ketika para penggemar khususnya MOA Indonesia dalam memanfaatkan platform tersebut untuk membangun hubungan parasosial dengan idol mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh hubungan parasosial terhadap Celebrity Worship antara idol TXT dan penggemar di Indonesia pada aplikasi Weverse dengan relevansi konsep hubungan parasosial dan konsep celebrity worship. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan menggunakan Teori Uses and Gratification. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini memperoleh nilai R sebesar 0,930 dengan signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa hubungan parasosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikansi terhadap celebrity worship. Nilai korelasi Spearman’s Rank sebesar 0,632 masuk ke dalam kategori kuat. Nilai R square adalah 0,393 yang artinya pengaruh hubungan parasosial terhadap Celebrity Worship penggemar TXT (MOA) Indonesia di aplikasi Weverse sebesar 39,3%, sementara sisanya yaitu 60,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain dari luar penelitian ini. | |||||||||
