Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test Maslow's theory of motivation based on the level of need, which resulted in a person committing a criminal act of corruption. Besides other theories such as Triangle Fraud Theory, GONE Theory, CDMA Theory, Willingness and Opportunity Theory, Cost-Benefit Theory of Capital. This research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the discussion of Maslow's theory of motivation at the level of the corruption crisis (high corruption) can result in an inverted pyramid so that high corruption acts can occur if someone thinks that the highest level needs are their basic needs.
