Abstract
Background: Complete, accurate, and standard-compliant nursing care documentation is an important part of ensuring the quality of nursing services and serves as evidence of nurses' professional responsibility. However, there are still obstacles in its implementation due to suboptimal time management among nurses. Globally and nationally, the quality of nursing documentation remains a challenge, mainly due to ineffective time management among practicing nurses. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between the time management of practicing nurses and the documentation of nursing care in the inpatient ward of the Banten Regional General Hospital in 2025. Methods: This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of all 162 practicing nurses in the inpatient ward, with a sample size of 127 respondents selected using Simple random sampling. The research instruments were questionnaires on time management and nursing care documentation that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test to determine the relationship between the two variables. Results: Most respondents had good time management (82.7%) and documented nursing care well (89.8%). The test results showed a significant relationship between the time management of practicing nurses and the documentation of nursing care (p = 0.000). Conclusion: Time management is key to nursing care documentation. The better the nurses' time management, the better the nursing care documentation.

| Additional Information: | Latar belakang: Pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan yang lengkap, akurat, dan sesuai standar merupakan bagian penting dalam menjamin mutu pelayanan keperawatan serta menjadi bukti tanggung jawab profesional perawat. Namun, masih ditemukan kendala dalam pelaksanaannya akibat manajemen waktu perawat yang kurang optimal. Secara global maupun nasional, kualitas dokumentasi keperawatan masih menjadi tantangan, terutama akibat manajemen waktu yang kurang efektif di kalangan perawat pelaksana. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara manajemen waktu perawat pelaksana dengan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Banten tahun 2025. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh perawat pelaksana di ruang rawat inap sebanyak 162 orang, dengan jumlah sampel 127 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner manajemen waktu dan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji chi-square untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kedua variabel. Hasil: Sebagian besar responden memiliki manajemen waktu baik (82,7%) dan melakukan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan baik (89,8%). Hasil uji menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara manajemen waktu perawat pelaksana terhadap pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan (p = 0,000). Kesimpulan: Manajemen waktu menjadi kunci dalam melakukan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan. Semakin baik manajemen waktu perawat, maka semakin baik pula pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan yang dihasilkan. | |||||||||
