Abstract
This research was conducted at the Kebonsari Native Chicken Farm (UMKM), which faces challenges in the livestock feed production process due to manual methods. These conditions lead to non-ergonomic work postures, such as prolonged bending and squatting, which trigger Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). This study aims to identify the level of MSDs complaints, analyze existing work postures, and propose improvements for work facilities. The methods employed are the Nordic Body Map (NBM), Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), and 5 Whys Analysis. The NBM questionnaire results showed an individual score of 90, categorized as high risk. RULA analysis at the transport, washing, drying, and vegetable cutting stations yielded a score of 7, indicating a very high risk that requires immediate corrective action. Through the 5 Whys Analysis, it was identified that the absence of ergonomic work facilities is the root cause of the problem. As a solution, work facilities were designed based on workers' anthropometric data, including a washing table, a cutting table, a drying rack, chairs, and a push trolley. Simulation results showed a significant reduction in RULA scores: the push trolley decreased to 3, the washing and cutting tables to 4, and the drying rack to 2 (low risk). The implementation of these proposals is proven effective in improving work posture, minimizing the risk of MSDs, and creating a safer, more productive work environment for employees.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilakukan pada UMKM Peternakan Ayam Kampung Kebonsari yang memiliki kendala pada proses pembuatan pakan ternak akibat metode manual. Kondisi ini menyebabkan postur kerja tidak ergonomis, seperti membungkuk dan jongkok dalam durasi lama, yang memicu keluhan Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tingkat keluhan MSDs, menganalisis postur kerja eksisting, dan memberikan usulan perbaikan fasilitas kerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah Nordic Body Map (NBM), Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), dan 5 Whys Analysis. Hasil kuesioner NBM menunjukkan skor individu sebesar 90 (risiko tinggi). Analisis RULA pada stasiun pengangkutan, pencucian, penjemuran, dan pemotongan sayur menunjukkan skor 7, yang mengindikasikan risiko sangat tinggi dan membutuhkan perbaikan segera. Melalui 5 Whys Analysis, ditemukan bahwa ketiadaan fasilitas kerja ergonomis menjadi akar permasalahan. Sebagai solusi, dirancang fasilitas kerja berdasarkan data antropometri pekerja meliputi meja pencucian, meja pemotongan, rak penjemuran, kursi, dan troli dorong. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan penurunan skor RULA yang signifikan: troli dorong menjadi 3, meja pencucian dan pemotongan menjadi 4, serta rak penjemuran menjadi 2 (risiko rendah). Implementasi usulan ini terbukti efektif dalam memperbaiki postur kerja, meminimalkan risiko keluhan MSDs, serta menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman dan produktif bagi pekerja. | |||||||||
