Abstract
The agricultural sector, particularly lowland rice farming, plays a strategic role in supporting national food security and the rural economy. However, rice production in various regions still faces problems related to yield fluctuations and suboptimal use of production factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of production factors on lowland rice yields and assess the efficiency of production factor use in lowland rice farming in Carengan Village, Cisoka District, Tangerang Regency. This study used a descriptive quantitative method, with 50 lowland rice farmers selected through a sampling technique based on Arikunto's guidelines. The data used consisted of primary and secondary data. Data analysis was performed using the Cobb-Douglas production function to determine the influence of production factors and analyze the technical and economic efficiency of production input use. The results show that the production factors of land, seeds, fertilizer, and labor influence lowland rice production with varying degrees of contribution. Furthermore, there is still inefficient use of production factors, necessitating adjustments in input allocation to increase production and farmer income. This research is expected to provide input for farmers and related parties in optimizing the use of production factors and improving the performance of lowland rice farming in the study area.

| Additional Information: | Sektor pertanian, khususnya pertanian padi sawah, memainkan peran strategis dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional dan ekonomi pedesaan. Namun, produksi padi di berbagai daerah masih menghadapi masalah terkait fluktuasi hasil panen dan penggunaan faktor produksi yang suboptimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor produksi terhadap hasil panen padi sawah dan menilai efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi dalam pertanian padi sawah di Desa Carengan, Kecamatan Cisoka, Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan 50 petani padi sawah yang dipilih melalui teknik pengambilan sampel berdasarkan pedoman Arikunto. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas untuk menentukan pengaruh faktor produksi dan menganalisis efisiensi teknis dan ekonomi penggunaan input produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor produksi lahan, benih, pupuk, dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi sawah dengan berbagai tingkat kontribusi. Lebih lanjut, masih terdapat penggunaan faktor produksi yang tidak efisien, sehingga diperlukan penyesuaian alokasi input untuk meningkatkan produksi dan pendapatan petani. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan bagi petani dan pihak terkait dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan faktor produksi dan meningkatkan kinerja pertanian padi sawah di daerah penelitian. | |||||||||
