Abstract

Students environmental literacy can be improved through learning with the use of innovative teaching materials such as electronic modules. This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility level of an electronic biology module based on environmental literacy on environmental change material. The method used in this study is the R&D (Research and Development) method with a 3D model research design (define, design, and development). The results of the study showed that the feasibility test by material experts obtained a score of 90%, while by media experts it was 95%, both of which were included in the very feasible category. In small group trials conducted at SMAN 11 Tangerang Regency and SMAN 21 Tangerang Regency, the teacher response to the electronic biology module obtained a score of 92%, and the student response was 87%, which indicates that the electronic biology module received a positive response. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the overall results of the assessment by material experts, media experts, and user response tests on the development of the electronic biology module are very suitable for use as teaching materials to support environmental literacy on environmental change material.

Additional Information: Literasi lingkungan siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran dengan penggunaan bahan ajar inovatif seperti modul elektronik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dari electronic biology module berbasis literasi lingkungan pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan desain penelitian model 3D (define, design, dan development). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi memperoleh nilai sebesar 90%, sedangkan oleh ahli media sebesar 95%, yang keduanya masuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Pada uji coba kelompok kecil yang dilakukan di SMAN 11 Kabupaten Tangerang dan SMAN 21 Kabupaten Tangerang, respons guru terhadap electronic biology module mendapatkan nilai mencapai 92%, dan respons peserta didik sebesar 87%, yang menunjukkan bahwa electronic biology module memperoleh respons positif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keseluruhan hasil penilaian oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan uji respon pengguna pada pengembangan electronic biology module sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar untuk menunjang literasi lingkungan pada materi perubahan lingkungan.
