Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of speed training with the ladder drill method on the results of dollyo chagi kicks on Taekwondo Cilegon Baja Club athletes. The approach used is quantitative with experimental methods, using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design pre-experiment design without a control group. The research subjects were 20 Taekwondo athletes aged 16-18 years who met the purposive sampling criteria from a total population of 45 athletes. The research was conducted over one months, with 16 ladder drill training meetings during one month, and data processing during the following month. Measurements were taken through pretest before treatment and posttest after treatment to determine changes in dollyo chagi kick results. The data obtained was analyzed statistically to see the effect of the training given. The results of this study are expected to provide information on the effectiveness of ladder drills in improving dollyo chagi kicking ability in taekwondo athletes, thereby serving as a recommendation for training programs to enhance club performance. The instrument used in this study was a 15-second kicking test. The statistical test results show that there is a significant influence with a t-count value of 6.162 > t-table with a value of 1.1218 and an increase in dollyo chagi kicks using the ladder drill training method is 21.18% indicating that this training method has have good benefits in improving the speed of dollyo chagi kicks.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan kecepatan dengan metode ladder drill terhadap hasil tendangan dollyo chagi pada atlet Taekwondo Cilegon Baja Club. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, menggunakan desain pre-eksperimen One Group Pretest-Posttest Design tanpa kelompok kontrol. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 atlet Taekwondo berusia 16-18 tahun yang memenuhi kriteria purposive sampling dari total populasi 45 atlet. Penelitian dilakukan selama satu bulan, dengan 16 kali pertemuan latihan ladder drill selama satu bulan, dan pengolahan data selama satu bulan berikutnya. Pengukuran dilakukan melalui pretest sebelum perlakuan dan posttest setelah perlakuan untuk mengetahui perubahan hasil tendangan dollyo chagi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik untuk melihat pengaruh latihan yang diberikan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi mengenai efektivitas latihan ladder drill dalam kemampuan tendangan dollyo chagi pada atlet taekwondo, sehingga dapat menjadi rekomendasi dalam program latihan untuk meningkatkan performa club. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu test tendangan 15 detik. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai t-hitung sebesar 6,162 > t-tabel dengan nilai 1.1218 serta peningkatan tendangan dollyo chagi dengan menggunakan metode latihan ladder drill adalah sebesar 21.18% menunjukan bahwa metode latihan ini memiliki manfaat yang baik dalam meningkatkan kecepatan tendangan dollyo chagi. | |||||||||
