Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Differentiated Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students' critical and creative thinking skills regarding the human circulatory system. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design utilizing a pretest and posttest. The research was conducted from July to December 2025 at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Serang and the Department of Biology Education, Untirta. The population comprised all 11th-grade (Class XI) students in the 2025/2026 academic year, with the sample consisting of Class XI-7 as the experimental group and Class XI-8 as the control group, selected using a random sampling technique. The experimental group utilized the Differentiated PjBL model, while the control group utilized conventional learning. Data were collected using critical thinking and creative thinking essay tests and were subsequently analyzed using the Mann-Whitney hypothesis test. The results indicated a significance value of 0.904 for critical thinking skills and 0.085 for creative thinking skills. Since the obtained significance values exceeded the significance level of 0.05, H01 and H02 were accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no significant effect of the implementation of the Differentiated PjBL model on students' critical and creative thinking skills regarding the human circulatory system.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design dengan pretest dan posttest. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Juli sampai Desember 2025 di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Serang dan Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Untirta. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI tahun ajaran 2025/2026, dengan sampel terdiri dari kelas XI-7 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI-8 sebagai kelas kontrol, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berdiferensiasi dan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen tes uraian berpikir kritis dan uraian berpikir kreatif, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan uji hipotesis Mann Whitney. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,904 pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dan 0,085 pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Hasil uji hipotesis yang didapat melebihi taraf signifikansi 0,05, maka H01 dan H02 diterima. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model PjBL berdiferensiasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa pada materi sistem sirkulasi manusia. | |||||||||
