Abstract
PT XYZ faces the problem of distribution delays and a high return rate of around 3% due to route determination that is still carried out manually, so that the use of the fleet is not optimal. This study aims to develop a distribution route design model using the Heterogeneous Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows and Multi-Trips (HVRPTWMT) approach formulated in the framework of Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP). The model was developed taking into account the diverse vehicle capacity, service time window, and distribution pattern with two delivery trips per vehicle in one day. Model completion was carried out using LINGO software. The results show that fleet usage can be optimized by reducing the number of vehicles from six units with one trip to three units with two trips for each vehicle. The change led to an increase in total mileage from 1.148 km to 1.348 km and operational time from 1.875 minutes to 2.035 minutes. However, the increase in mileage and operational time is considered more efficient in terms of fleet use and fully meets the company's operational requirements. The sensitivity analysis showed that the model remained feasible for changes in vehicle capacity, so that it could be implemented as a basis for distribution route planning at PT XYZ.

| Additional Information: | PT XYZ menghadapi permasalahan keterlambatan distribusi dan tingginya tingkat retur sekitar 3% akibat penentuan rute yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga penggunaan armada belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model perancangan rute distribusi menggunakan pendekatan Heterogeneous Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows and Multi-Trips (HVRPTWMT) yang diformulasikan dalam kerangka Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP). Model dikembangkan dengan mempertimbangkan kapasitas kendaraan yang beragam, jendela waktu pelayanan, serta pola distribusi dengan dua kali trip pengiriman setiap kendaraan dalam satu hari. Penyelesaian model dilakukan menggunakan software LINGO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan armada dapat dioptimalkan dengan mengurangi jumlah kendaraan dari enam unit dengan satu trip menjadi tiga unit dengan dua trip untuk setiap kendaraan. Perubahan tersebut menyebabkan peningkatan total jarak tempuh dari 1.148 km menjadi 1.348 km dan waktu operasional dari 1.875 menit menjadi 2.035 menit. Namun, peningkatan jarak tempuh dan waktu operasional tersebut dinilai lebih efisien dari sisi penggunaan armada dan sepenuhnya memenuhi ketentuan operasional perusahaan. Analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan bahwa model tetap feasible terhadap perubahan kapasitas kendaraan, sehingga dapat diimplementasikan sebagai dasar perencanaan rute distribusi di PT XYZ. | ||||||
