Abstract
Deaf children face communication barriers that impact language delays and mastery of concepts, so they require an adaptive educational approach. One way is through a wood craft vocational learning program which aims to develop practical skills and independence. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the wood craft vocational learning program for deaf children in class IX at SKHN 01 Pandeglang, in terms of four learning components: objectives, strategy, media, and evaluation. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation of school principals, vocational teachers and students. The research results show that program implementation is not optimal. Learning planning is not yet structured, there is no lesson plan, and there are no special teaching modules available. Learning strategies emphasize direct practice, but do not fully meet students' visual needs. Learning media is limited, and evaluation is not yet based on individual needs. The main obstacles come from limited facilities, lack of teacher training, and lack of support from parents and industry partners. Teachers try to overcome obstacles with an individual approach, rotation of practical tools, and collaboration with accompanying teachers. | Additional Information: | Anak tunarungu menghadapi hambatan komunikasi yang berdampak pada keterlambatan bahasa dan penguasaan konsep, sehingga memerlukan pendekatan pendidikan yang adaptif. Salah satunya adalah melalui program pembelajaran vokasional kriya kayu yang bertujuan mengembangkan keterampilan praktis dan kemandirian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan program pembelajaran vokasional kriya kayu pada anak tunarungu kelas IX di SKHN 01 Pandeglang, ditinjau dari empat komponen pembelajaran: tujuan, strategi, media, dan evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru vokasional, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program belum optimal. Perencanaan pembelajaran belum terstruktur, ketiadaan RPP, serta belum tersedia modul ajar khusus. Strategi pembelajaran lebih menekankan pada praktik langsung, namun belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan visual siswa. Media pembelajaran terbatas, dan evaluasi belum berbasis kebutuhan individu. Hambatan utama berasal dari keterbatasan sarana, kurangnya pelatihan guru, serta minimnya dukungan orang tua dan mitra industri. Guru berupaya mengatasi hambatan dengan pendekatan individual, rotasi alat praktik, serta kerja sama dengan guru pendamping.
