Abstract

Learning in the 21st century emphasizes student-centered learning, one of which is being able to solve problems innovatively and collaboratively. This ability is very important for students to have. However, in reality in schools, students' problem-solving abilities are still low. Education for Sustainable Development can be applied in education, because it can improve problem-solving abilities. Therefore, there are solutions to develop learning innovations, one of which is Scrapbook media based on Education for Sustainable Development as an effort to develop students' problem-solving abilities. This study aims to describe the level of validity of Scrapbook media based on Education for Sustainable Development to develop students' problem-solving abilities and describe the level of student response to Scrapbook media based on Education for Sustainable Development to develop students' problem-solving abilities. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, but in this study it is limited to the development stage. The instruments used are expert validation questionnaire sheets and student response questionnaire sheets. The level of product validity was measured using an expert validation questionnaire sheet validated by three material expert lecturers, three media expert lecturers, and three junior high school science teachers. The results showed that the Education for Sustainable Development-based Scrapbook media achieved a validity level of 94.44% with the category of "very valid". The validity level was obtained from the average assessment of material expert validation of 92.91%, media expert validation of 92.08%, and junior high school science teacher validation of 98.33%. The student response rate obtained a percentage of 97% with the category of "very good".
